Our Fleet: Apparatus & Emergency Response Vehicles

The El Dorado Hills Fire Department operates a diverse fleet of firefighting, EMS, and emergency management apparatus from our five strategically located stations. Each vehicle plays a vital role in protecting our community—whether responding to structure fires, wildland incidents, medical emergencies, or large-scale disasters.

Below, you’ll find an overview of our current apparatus inventory. Our Type 1 Engines are designed primarily for structure fire response, while our Type 3 Engines are equipped to handle wildland fires and off-road conditions. Together, this fleet allows us to respond efficiently and effectively to the unique needs of our region.
